This project was a renovation of an existing restaurant into a primary care clinic.

The design emphasized the existing traditional architectural features while contrasting them with modern design elements, all while providing the clinical standards and requirements for the building.

The high ceilings and exposed beams were accented by new lighting and finishes to bring the eye up to these existing features. A combination of flooring solutions were used to provide modern yet warm elements in entry areas while utilizing more durable and cleanable surfaces in the clinical spaces. The existing large arched exterior windows were treated with window film and shades to provide patient privacy while also allowing natural light into the exam rooms. A variety of seating types were provided in the lobby with neutral colors in order to highlight the architectural design elements.
