Established in 1895, this public HBCU is a leader in agricultural science research. Fort Valley State University’s Agricultural Engineering Technology Program is designed to provide basic knowledge in engineering technology and management. Faculty train students to apply scientific, engineering, and management knowledge focused on sustaining and improving agricultural systems.

May Architecture provided design services to renovate the existing building plus a 7,000 SF expansion. Services included design for new mechanical, plumbing and electrical infrastructure for the existing building; enhanced shop and welding space, a new administrative suite, and improved classrooms and electronic engineering labs. The addition includes a newly designed building entrance with active learning space and an extended canopy, tying the design back into the existing building.
