May Architecture is teamed with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill on a new 18 story, 455,000-square-foot cancer hospital on a 3.4-acre site in the Midtown neighborhood of Atlanta. The project includes outpatient services including infusion, oncology immediate care center, inpatient beds, radiation oncology, an extensive imaging center, a full perioperative suite, and extensive patient amenities. The design team embarked on an extensive IFD process that included a twelve week Cardboard City workshop which included every clinical practice in the new facility.
