Serpas True Food

Atlanta, Georgia

This Project is a 4,200 SF adaptive re-use Interior Build-Out of New Casual Fine Dining Restaurant within an existing warehouse structure. Located in a former early 1900’s cotton warehouse, this restaurant space captures sweeping views of downtown Atlanta. The design preserves and compliments the rich inherent character of the historic building, revealing as much of the original building as possible. The finishes were selected for their relationship to both the building and Chef Scott Serpas’ unique culinary style: natural, pure, simple, uncomplicated. Materials include unstained hickory, each piece hand selected for its character, natural zinc panels, and black concrete countertop embedded with oyster shells from the chef’s native New Orleans. The project won the 2010 Best of the Best Award for Hospitality from the IIDA Georgia Chapter.
